Enable Exchange Cache to unlock all yourMAIL features.
What is the Exchange Cache?
The Exchange Cache is a fast cache that accelerates the speed with communication to the server. For example, when you open an email, it does not need to be requested from the server, but is fetched much faster from the local OST file, the cache.
We recommend enabling Exchange Cache for the included mailboxes on all clients. Only if this option is enabled, Outlook creates an OST file and all yourMAIL functions are available. If the Exchange Cache is not activated, the functions for the personal mailbox are deactivated because of the worse Outlook performance:
- No filing suggestions for personal mailbox folders
- No search functions for personal mailboxes
- No My Upload function
- No e-mail resubmissions
- No mailbox cleanup wizard
